Edit of THERE IS A WALK WE CAN MAKE
There is a shaft of light through the cork oak trees.
Here we taxi down the runway towards take off
There are people that walk on earth.
Here is a cube of ice, beginning to melt
In a glass that was once hot sand.
There is never a dull moment
When the Wright brothers sing about A J
Crossing the ocean in a single seat plane.
Here the moment is gone in an instant it’s gone.
The stones
are wet
with blood
on Monday.
Here
the wall
of stones
grows warm
in the Sunday sun
There the music of breathing
Is transported through tiny tunnels.
Here the music collects together
In a machine of polished chrome.
Waiting for a coin of the realm to drop
Like dew from the rim of the eucalyptus leaves.
There the sun dial picks up shadows
And waits for the next tap tap tap
Of dancing shoes on the wooden floor
Here the second son is green and hot
And peels an orange
While the jealous son
Fills a small glass with blood orange juice.
Give
me
your
hand.

A Secret Wish is still an album I play to this day. It has never waned. I actually think it has got better with age. I'm not a fan generally of live recordings but this is one I love listening to. And Disziplin is on here too. Just as I remember it on The Tube. Who could ask for anything more? Just wish I would have been there but this is the next best thing. ❤ bazgray
